About me

This is me. I've been working as a full-stack developer at an agency for more than the last 5 years. I am building web-apps with VueJs, TailwindCSS, Primevue/VoltUi and any data-source - APIs like REst or GraphQL or even Excel...

Because of my experience in other sectors and on the other side of the agency business, I but my focus on:

  • Clientneeds - the hardest part, because sometimes not even the customers know what they need...
  • Slow is smooth, and smooth is fast. - No plan survives first contact with the enemy, but still planing is essentiell. How would I know what my component needs to do, if I don't know what the app is supposed to do?
  • The tool must fit the job - I like working with VueJs. But if all I need is a quick html-form that sends an email, I PHP might be my tech of choice.

Overall I am quite happy where I am. But the thing is, I am not exactly a young'un anymore. At least on paper...This might mean that I should be making myself comfortable until I can retire. This not enough for me by far...

Yes, I do not have a lot of career ambition anymore and job titles mean nothing much to me. But I am still not done. I want to:

  • keep on learning and growing
  • work on challenging projects
  • Work with a team of all ages and genders and learn from the others
  • get out of my comfort-zone and do the things I am afraid of doing.
